How do I manage Crontab in Plesk?

Managing Cron Tab will help automate your website. Crontab is used for running scripts at a certain period of time. For example, if you wish to run your cron at 5:05PM each morning, you can simply set it in the Crontab and it will be run automatically at that time for you, each and every day.

  1. Login to Plesk (login information is located within your welcome email)
  2. Click on "Domains"
  3. Now, click on the domain you wish to manage
  4. Once that opens, click on "Crontab"

Now, you can set your "Preferences" for each user that you want to manage. For example, if you wish an email to be sent after each time the cron runs, you can set that up here. Once ready, just click "Set" and you're ready to go on.

  1. At the top of the page, please click on "Add New Task"
  2. Within this section you will need to outline what you would like run, and when.
  3. Once this information is inputted into the corresponding boxes, please click "OK" at the bottom of the page.

There you go. You've setup your Crontab for your website.
