How do I enable the firewall on my VPS?

By default your VPS doesn't have its firewall enabled. However, you can enable the firewall on your VPS at any time. Please follow the below instructions on how to get this done, and that will allow you to enable the firewall.

Enabling the Firewall:

  1. Login to your WHM (Web Host Manager)
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the menu (on the left hand side)
  3. Click on "ConfigServer Security&Firewall"
  4. Click on "Firewall Start" (this will start the firewall on your VPS)

Disabling the Firewall:

  1. Login to your WHM (Web Host Manager)
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the menu (on the left hand side)
  3. Click on "ConfigServer Security&Firewall"
  4. Click on "Firewall Disable" (this will stop and disable the firewall on your VPS)

The above are the two fastest ways to enable / disable the firewall on your VPS hosting account.
