How to disable CRON access via WHM ?

 

Sometimes, you find yourself needing to stop a user from having CRON job access. So how do you do it? That's a great question; we will show you how to easily resolve this problem. Please follow step-by-step tutorial below:

Disabling CRON access via WHM:

  • You will need to login to the WHM (This information is in your welcome email)
  • On the left side, you will need to scroll down to "Packages"
  • Once there, you will need to click on "Feature Manager", and then "Edit a Feature List"
  • From the "Edit a Feature List" page, you will need to locate "Crontab" and uncheck the box next to it.
  • Once, this has been completed, please click on "Save" at the bottom of the page.

Congratulations! CRON has been disabled for anyone has is in the "default" feature list.
