How to change a cPanel password through WHM?

 

From time to time, account holders lose their passwords, and need to rest them. Using the WHM you can set the new password for any account. Follow these steps to do this:

  • Login to the WHM interface (Use the login information is in your welcome email).
  • Scroll down in left side menu to the "Password Modification" link under "Account Functions" section and click on it.
  • Select a user or a domain from the "Account Selection" table.
  • Type twice the new password in "Password Entry" (If desired, use the password generation) and click on the "Change" button at the bottom of the page.
